Diablo 3 Confirmed

It looks like Blizzard could no longer keep it a secret after the recent discovery by those search engine dwellers. Blizzard came out of their little dwelling and came out with BIG news aside from Starcraft 2. DIABLO 3!
Get a load off this screenshot!

According to Blizzard, the story takes place 20 years after the events of Diablo 2. 5 classes. Including the Witch Doctor and Barbarian, maybe more will be added. This will be awesome.
I for one can't wait for SC II, but Diablo 3 - awesomeness!

Electric Motorcycle

So here we are on the thirst for gasoline. Fear not!
Behold the Electric Motorcycle that could be built and made for under $2000!

Diablo 3 in Speculation

We all know Diablo right? The butcher, minions of hell, choose 5 classes + 2 if you've got the right expansions. All fun and games, one of the best and most played RPG game in the 90s and is still being played online today.
The news of Starcraft II surely has snowblinded Blizzard fans, but little do they know that a there might be a good chance of another thing to dazzle and have them screaming in excitement. Diablo III.
Now, it really is quite questionable. All it took were a bunch of people with a search engine to spot a hidden treasure at the Blizzard site. A Forum for Diablo 3 - which the Blizzard site pretty much made. So why make this forum? We do not know but you might want to check out this link.

Kingdom Hearts the TCG

Kingdom Hearts, a Playstation game that really made a spark to many all around the globe ever since Final Fantasy 7. Well, it wasn't that much different as it was made by Square-Enix as well as Disney and the fact that Cloud - the main character in FF7 is in there too and might have some contributing factors to the wave of fanboy/girl hysteria on this somewhat recent game. This time, from the game comes another. A trading card game.

The official website of Kingdom Hearts the TCG provides us with a storyline behind the game. It reads:

"Ominous beings called the Heartless from an unknown dimension threaten the very existence of the known worlds. You will take the role of Sora in order to fend off these Dark forces. However, you will not have to struggle alone– your favorite Disney characters, including Donald, Goofy, and Ariel, will help you in this ultimate challenge.

The Kingdom Hearts Trading Card Game is a two-player card battle game set in the world of Kingdom Hearts. Players travel through strange and wondrous worlds clashing with the Dark forces in order to win, all the while trying to stop their opponents from doing the same.

The key to victory lies in the friendships you make, as those friends will help you throughout the game."

The Kingdom hearts TCG has been out for quite some time now. It was released on late November in the US of the year 2007. In Japan however
was released shortly after the game release of KH: Chain of Memories for the GBA which dated back to around 2004?
Talk about delay.
Well, this is another great collection for KH fans to have as well as their favourite Disney and Square-Enix characters right in their pockets.

An online version of KH has been rumoured to be near its completion. No need for cards or whatsoever so everyone with a computer can pretty much test this game out online with other players.

Top 10: Superpowers

I'm gonna go out from my usual 'opinionated news articles' (if remotely stated otherwise...) and go out on a limb by taking a break from hassles and fazzles on finding cool interesting rumors. Instead, I'm going to create a list. Yes, tacky and tired, but the internet demands that blogs must have a list of some sort. So... If you were to have a choice between receiving fifty million dollars and a superpower, what would you choose? I would definitely choose natural abilities over money. Sure you can buy stuff with money - invest making a suit of Iron that shoots laser beams, but that doesn't really make you cool if you get assassinated, robbed or stripped of your possessions by your government for making a possible WMD. So, definitely a superpower for me - though most it's best to keep it on the down low. So here's my first list ever.

#10: Flight
Flight earns the top 10 spot because of its practicality. I hav
e believed for quite some time now that Flight is a very lame superpower and people would want something other than flight. But it turns out that all the polls I've created across the webs of the internet have brought back the same result over and over and over again... People aren't creative enough to think of a power that would give them a kick-axe abilities as well as flight. But I won't bash on those people any longer. Who wouldn't want to fly once in a while? Complete liberation. Nothing but migrating geese and airlines. Nothing can stop you really, and the best thing - you can visit places you've never been to! You can go do stuff you never would have been able to do with your normal 'human powers' such as watching TLKoB (those who know the acronym, congrats, you're not confused). Unfortunately, the reason why I didn't initially like Flight is that [a] You can't dominate the world with it and [b] Aerial pollution isn't exactly a good thing to breathe. Though you could pick someone up and bring them on high and drop them.. That would be a fun way to psyche your friends out.

#9: Invisibility
Invisibility is quite a fun power to have. Sure Invisibility may seem quite lame... But being invisible really grants one unprecedented freedom to do whatever he or she wants. Of course provided that it's not snowing, raining, or if the indoor floors aren't wet (or soaked in blood), then you'd be perfectly fine. Okay, so it's kinda like the power with the most weaknesses, that is unless you play it smart when using it. Learn a martial art and you will be almost invincible towards enemies. Think about it, just to mess with your opponents head, turn invisible right in the middle of throwing a punch, kick or headbutt.
A Famous character with invisibility is Susan Storm. A.k.a: Invisible Woman. Marvels justification for her Invisibility prowess is that she co
ntrols the light waves around her. So, technically, she's a light bender? The power of Invisibility usually comes as a side power to one of the most powerful heroes known to the comic universes. (Black Widow anyone?)

#8: Phasing
Phasing has always been a very cool power for me. The ability to become intangible, go through walls and any solid object! You can get away with anything pretty much. No bullet can harm you, no fist, no sword, no train. There is a flaw however. You can get hurt by things like heat (the impact from explosions), nitrogen bombs, radiation from a Nuke. So it's pretty easy to apprehend one who has phasing powers provided that the Swat team comes along with those things. On the even more plus side, you could phase your hand through someones body and rip their heart out, or phase your hand into a computer and short circuit it. Pretty cool ability.

#7: Shapeshifting
The ability to transform into anything you want save for non-living objects. Shapeshifting earns number 7 because there's not much of the 'awesome' factor in it. UNLESS, they morph into animals mid-way and firing away. You know, kinda like furries, except cooler, not so fluffy and much more dangerous. Of course there's the ability to turn into other people, that's alright too. Gain authoritative access and the like. Not useful if you don't know passwords though to get places. But animal shapeshifting is awesome. Famous shapeshifting figures are Mystique, Beastboy and Morph. As a bonus with Animal shapeshifting, you also have the ability to use number ten on the list - Flight.

#5: Technopathy
The ability to communicate to technology and order them to do whatever you want. Yes, probably the best thing and most co
nvenient power to have in the digital era. I mean, who wouldn't want to tell the stoplight to turn green through your cellphone? Who wouldn't want to access on-demand videos for free? Who wouldn't be tempted to tell an Automatic Teller Machine to cough out five hundred dollars? Yeah, technopathy is probably one of the cooler powers because you can do anything, everything and the best part - in secret... of course unless you're not so smart and tell the computer your address and identification instead of just simply telling it to do so. Cool character that can do this is Micah from the kickass TV series "Heroes". Mika has the technopathy and lived in

#4: Teleportation

Who wouldn't want to teleport? Be it short distanced teleportation like Nightcrawler who can teleport to places he can see (or imagine?) or long distances like Blink who could teleport people to distances as far as the moon. Teleportation is kick axe! I can't really place into words how fun it would be to teleport or how kick ass to use it in battle or how much you could slack off or save money, or get away with things. Just outstanding.

#3: Telekenesis
Telekenesis gets on number three mainly because of personal reasons. For example. My Magnitude 9 room of mess. I'd simply sit down on my futon and lift the entire mess, separate yes from no, fold like ten shirts on the floor simultaneously, stack a dollar in pennies, awesome stuff. You can create a shield, lift objects with your mind which always is fun. Oh, same goes for stopping bullets, nitrogen bombs and people. Jean Grey for example. Disintegrating people in X-Men: The Last Stand. I dreamt of becoming so frustrated of this stoplight that I decided to try and change the signals using my telekentic abilities to mess with the circuitry and ended up breaking the stoplight and it falling on a crowd... So sad...

#2: Atomokinesis
Atomokinesis is the control of weather. Once you own this power, you own the world all around you. Blizzards, Hurricanes, Hailstorms, Thunder and Lightning. No WMD can stop you because you will blow it sky high before it can reach yo
u. No missle, no bullet, nothing. What's that? Megatron's coming? Freeze him back into the ice age! Weather manipulation is the ultimate world dominating tool that people will realize. Storm is a popular figure for this. I hear she was able to create fireballs too.

#1: Chronokinesis
Chronokinesis is the ability to stop time, or slow time or go back through time, or go forward. Just like Hiro from the TV show series "Hero
es". He stopped time, tried to kill someone when he finally got the guts to do it. He teleported back in time to try and alter the future. Stopping time also allows you to sleep in and wake up whenever you feel like it. Having time in your hands is ultimately invaluable.

Collision of Worlds

I love crossovers. I've been turned into a comic geek by my stepbrother blue_phoenix and I must say, I am forever greatful. Without the introduction to the marvelous comic world, the evolutions of heroes, their personality. Watching them grow with great affection and nostalgia as they go through tragedies, surprises and victory. Yes, that's the great thing about comics; especially Marvel and DC. You can literally see everyone change. Cyclops gained the ability to control his optic beams with the help of Emma Frost, Bobby Drake (Iceman) becoming more and more powerful and was controlled by Emma Frost once and was classified as one of the top ten mutants that could destroy planet Earth. In DC, Flash Patroling the city that is being fueled by Green Lantern... all that Jazz. Yeah, it's friggin awesome. But here's an interesting thing I just found some time while exploring the netherrealms of the internet. A shocking and most curious crossover between worlds. Usually it's between Marvel Comics and DC. In their crossover comic "Marvel vs. DC", the heroes from the two universe battle it out to see whose universe gets destroyed or not... Apparently, the DC Universe got destroyed between a tie breaker between Wolverine and Lobo... Here's a copy and Paste job from Wikipedia.

So there ya have it. Don't worry, the wins and loses were determined by popular vote from fans. So anyway, where was I? Oh yes, that's right. A surprising crossover between two different universes that - I think - never has happened before! Wait for it-- Mortal Kombat vs. DC
Here's a thought provoking trailer for the upcoming game:

Yeah... It's awesome. Though I do kinda worry about my favourite characters from DC. I can't picture Sub Zero (who is also my favourite) ripping off the spine of Batman...
Well, for one thing, Wonder Woman would fit in to the MK universe perfectly well. She's a goddess, there are dozens of demi gods in MK and everyone's as strong as her... I wonder what Fatality she has...

Anime & Games to Movies

There are plenty of stuff we would really want to see on the big screen. Mostly because of nostalgia, stuff we've grown up with when we were still children. If you are a 1990 kid like me, then you'd definitely know what I'm talking about the creation of the X-Men trilogy, the Transformers and the upcoming Speed Racer. All of which was really popularized by their respective animated series in the 90s (Although the X-Men was originally from the 60s....).
Now, we see plenty of WILD and pretty mind-blowing news of comics, television shows and books that we have read when we were younger! Here's a little list of upcoming movies that will soon appear in the few later years. That is of course the Mayan Prophecy of Apocalypse is false.

Tekken
One of the news that really got me excited when I heard of it is Tekken. Tekken is a video game that released in the 90's Sony Playstation. It was a fun game, one of the first fighting game's I've ever played.
In 1998 they created an anime movie, it both received praise and distaste from both fans and casual movie-goers alike. It was praised for it's marvelous 'realism' in fighting styles, but booed for the bad English dubbing by English listeners (Jin's voice was compared to Vegeta's from DBZ).
But this time, English viewers needn't complain about dubbing this time. Speculation of a Live Action Tekken movie was released and confirmed. IGN and IMBd has posted the following plot and revealed that the movie once again revolves around Jin Kazama. It's some story about uncovering evil and darkness with an old monk named Zhen. I can't wait for this film! Casting has already begun and the following actors were cast for these characters:

Luke Goss Playing as Steve Fox. The dodgy boxer that kicked my ass when using Capoeira.

John Foo as Jin Kazama. Of course, this is just leaked information. It may change...

Cung Le as the Kick Axe Marshall Law

Kelly Overton as the Capoeira counterpart of Eddie Gordo - Christie Montiero.

All those have been released thus far...
Tekken shall appear anytime soon, say around 2009?

Dragonball Z
Then comes the popular Dragonball Z and yes it will be Live action! It is to be released on April 8, 2009! The popular anime series that had unsuccessful attempts to make itself evident in the U.S. but extravagant in other countries.

But what the hell!? Im excited nonetheless... I'm still kinda curious to how they'll pull the movie off. Anime is so hard to replicate...

Project Lawsuit (Arrr...)

The internet is always filled with a variety of interesting controversy, debates... Pretty much separatism and all that jazz. Take the ones who think they're so smart for example. No one likes them - however much they're right, no one likes ignorance to be disrupted. Those of you who wander around comments in a video from YouTube or Break, or forums in general, you're most likely to know what I'm talking about. Yeah, two groups: One who can't help adding science and all theat mythical stuff, and those who just want to enjoy carefree random days on the internet. But that's just on a tiny and much more minute example of the oh so divided opinions of the Internet. The bigger scale would be the age long battle between Record Companies ($$$) and Internet Pirates (Arrr Matey).

Ignore the Comic Bashing on Apple's schemes of releasing one gadget after another after another

Many argue that it is simply 'sharing' files and that it is no crime at all. in fact, it only raises the popularity of one artist! Others argue that the artists should be respected and supported by paying up the respected price of their albums. I agree with both sides, in fact, it reminds me of when Napster came out as a blast! And then Record Companies sued them for allowing downloads. (Read this interesting Article about Napster and the Music Industry) However, there are some exceptions which I have run through my head for quite a while. One of them is that music be made available to the users of the internet. Not necessarily downloadable, but simply available. Once you tread beyond that line, then it kinda is understandable.. but annoying... and frustrating. This is where Project Playlist comes in.
Project Playlist is popular web tool that allows users to enter the website and search for an artists song or album or playlist (created by other users) and listen to them. Other features of this site allows the embedding of a created playlists into other sites such as Gaia online, MySpace, Facebook, Blog Sites (such as this), and basically any site that allows custom HTML editing. Now, this site where 25,030,450 users (and 9.5 million views everday) is being sued by 9 label companies including Motown Record Co LP, Warner Music Group Corp's, Warner Bros. Inc., Virgin Records America, and more. The reason for this is because they do believe that it is one ginormous (ginormous: Giant + Enormous) copyright infringement. Project Playlist hasn't released any comments regarding the situation or anything in particular in their defense...
But on the bright side, if you're looking for a job, I saw this sign on the bottom of Project Playlist's page saying that it is now hiring. Bad news is it might shut down. Don't worry, at least there's a similar site called www.imeem.com . In fact, I have embedded a Project Playlist Player here singing it's probable demise. Until then...

The Fantasy

Final Fantasy... The grandeur of all RPG gaming that started all the way back to the ever so nimble Sony Playstation... The game grew in popularity in it's early years, especially in FF I as it was a new generation of gaming in those good old days. It fell in its second installment endangering its future.. But don't worry, it picked up again on it's other installments such as 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 10.5, 11, 12 and 13... But besides the point of Square Enix's attempt into condemn kids into tantrums, teens into lockdown and adults who have nothing better to do into contemplation, they intend to further their advances NOT by creating something new... But something much more scandalous, innovative, scheming, orgasmic (nerdgasmic to put it in proper geek terms)... A remake of the Final Fantasy 7 series...

Now, to those who aren't aware of the social impact of Final fantasy 7 (or know of FF7 - Shame on you) to todays teen culture, here's a quick rundown on the whole darn thing.
Final Fantasy 7 was a global phenomena that was released in 1997 and made a little set line of dominoes that were toppled upon teens of sorts that are oh so similar to the persona of Cloud Strife . It was recognized by Gaming Monthly as one of the most IMPORTANT gaming titles of gaming history. It was the first of the Final Fantasy series (or possibly the entire gaming world in the 90's) to have evolved into a 3 dimensional view which was pretty big as it set the standards even higher for other games. Also, the game was criticized and bombarded by parents who related the game to the Columbine High School Massacre saying it was games like these that promoted violence, but hey, that's why we have ESRB right? Did I mention that it was also labeled as number 7 on Game Spy's most overrated games? That's a different story.. MOVING ON...
Anyway, you all can read the rest of it's history in wikipedia... There's bigger nerdgasmic news coming 'round.

A remake of Final Fantasy 7 in this bigger, badder big brother of the Playstation is coming right after the successful production of Final Fantasy XIII. Yes, those who has heard of all the hype but can't tolerate last decades graphics rejoice for now is your time to catch up to the whole damn thing! Little hints have been given out to the public though it hasn't been fully unveiled. It began as a teaser - a technical demo of Final Fantasy 7 to make fans wriggle in their seats screaming at their computers to make it already... But just for comparisons sake, I have placed the original intro.

But now, fans need not scream at their computer any longer about 'making' the remake... They can now scream in joy and of impatience as it has been contemplated amongst Square's studios of the coming title for the PS3... Of course, it's just contemplation, no confirmation. Here's what Yoshinori Kitase said once upon a time:

"My feelings are that if a remake were to work well then all the core members of the original team must be reassembled, all the artists and designers."

...? Didn't Nobuo move on out of Square Enix and started making all other soundtracks to other gaming companies like Mistwalker (who made Blue Dragon)

"The problem is that, although all of us have an idea of what a remake should be and how to do it, organising such a thing right now is logistically very difficult. All the different members are now involved in very new, very large projects like Final Fantasy XIII and those projects are going to take a while.

Maybe, when all those games are finished then we can look at doing something like that.

Of course, that said we came up with the idea for Crisis Core in just two days. It was a case of 'this is what we want to do, so let's do it'. So, you can definitely expect the probability of something spontaneous happening at some point, but it's hard to predict."

Despite all the talk, FF7 fans are quite conservative on the matter. Some disprove of the remake saying that classics should remain classics. Meaning that a remake is A-OK as long as the battle system stays the same, the cutscenes, the dialogue, etc. Nothing added, nothing removed. Kinda reminds me of those parents who bashed on the Columbine HS Massacre... (Don't mind me, I just don't like that much conservatives who want things to say the same).
But forget them, I for one cannot wait for the remake!

The Problem with Google

Google Certainly is the worlds most used search engine -- No Contest. Google is a hugetastic and still growing industry, to further elaborate their growth, may I remind the coming the Google Phone and dozens of upcoming google features everywhere! One of their upcoming release for 2008 is the Google Page Creator which allows businesses and individuals to create intranets, project management tracking, extranets and other custom sites. Sounds cool huh? But despite it's plans to get into the custom site communities and cool gadgetry, there is one flaw that could jeopardize its plans... Ladies and gents, I bring to you the Google Terms of Service section 2.3

You may not use the Services and may not accept the Terms if (a) you are not of legal age to form a binding contract with Google, or (b) you are a person barred from receiving the Services under the laws of the United States or other countries including the country in which you are resident or from which you use the Services.
No comprende? Well, the legal age for most countries to form a binding contract (including the United States) is 18 years old. Still don't get it? Minors won't be able to use Google so they'd better hit the libraries (or wikipedia).
There hasn't been any method for blocking the services for minors, but if they do- Google will be facing a troublesome year.
May I suggest using www.ask.com if they do ever find a way.

The LoL Cats...

Yes. LolCats have been around the internet since the beginning of time... How long? Well, lets say they have been around for a very long axe* time and according to G4 specialists, they claim to have been around long enough to influence humans over the strands of time watching our every single move.
The earliest recovered relic of the LoL Cat is the one to the right. It is a picture of a cat and a snake... The cat killing the snake with a blade of... grass... There were hieroglyphics on the bottom of the image which was translated to "I see what you did there" which brought upon the everlasting trend of the LoLcats' miraculous appearances such as the ceiling cat and the trashcat.

The History of LOLCats - Watch more free videos

But on a more serious level. The LoL cat was quite a remarkable internet phenomena. Like G4 said, it all started with HappyCat and it was flamed like hell. But that didn't stop some passers to actually have found some humor in it enough to spread its influence. Thus was the creation of the modern lolcats we see today.

HappyCat died on the year 2007 of old age. Many users of the LoL Speak community mourned his loss and pretty sure - the entire internet who has grown to love and hate this chubby and extraordinarily happy cat. May he have all the cheezburgers he wants in heaven.

The Creation

I'd like to introduce all of you to someone very eccentric and oftentimes nonsensical, me. Yeah... me*... of all people. I'd otherwise introduce you all to cool people that matter most like Albert Einstein who could teach us the makings of the A-Bomb in person or perhaps or someone even more interesting like that one guy who survived being sucked into a tornado and flung right into the air, flew for miles and survived... No, not today. Anyway, 'me' is a a student. 'Me' is eccentric. 'Me' is someone who owes the library ten dollars and fifty cents. Bottom line: 'Me' is a very average person.
So, for your own comprehension of this little blog I have provided a set of Rules that you might want to take into your consideration...

----------------------
Rule # 1: There are no Rules.

Rule # 2: The author is a very nonsensical person and oftentimes than not writes about random items. You should completely disregard any information or message that is ever published by him.

Rule # 3: The author is a very thoughtful person. Everything he says should be taken into consideration and must be taken seriously.

Rule # 4: Drink Milk. They're good for your bones.

Rule # 5:

Rule # 6: Refer Rule # 1
----------------------

Right... Now that we have all that set into everyone. We can get on with this introduction?
Random Reverberations purpose is to be a collective gathering of news and stuff people might care about. From Games, to Uproars, Gadgets, Videos and interviews from random people... I sincerely hope that all readers who come across my web blog will enjoy this.
The End.
